Stayed here for a night and really enjoyed it. Rooms were spacious and great view of Lake Michigan. Stella van Buren was a really good in hotel restaurant. Although dinner took a while, breakfast was phenomenal. Because this Westin doesn’t have a lounge or buffet breakfast, the vouchers that the front desk gives you covers an entire meal per person. Our server Dalip was great, constantly checking in and refilling water.

It was my first time staying downtown with a friend and as soon as we arrived, we were greeted by valet. He was extremely polite, helpful and sweet. We weren’t sure upon arrival if we wanted valet or not, we just pulled in to ask some questions and see if we were able to check in before parking (parking downtown on an early Friday evening is a nightmare). Not only did Jamar help us with our bags and retrieved a cart for us, he brought us to the elevators and up to the lobby for check in. Again, super helpful and very nice! Check in was a breeze. Front desk staff were also polite and sweet, and not just at check in, but throughout our whole stay. Anytime we had a question or just needed anything in general, always delivered service with a smile. Offering the amenities, information on what to eat and drink on site, etc. Staying downtown for the first time had us slightly anxious, but everyone was putting worries at ease and were extremely comforting. The rooms were cute and comfortable. Our room had a view of the lake. They were fairly clean and definitely quiet. Beds were comfortable and bedding was fresh. Bathroom stocked and also clean. Only negative was the room smelled like must/mildew, and upon accidentally finding the air filter, we saw why. We were in walking distance to the Milwaukee Public Market, the pier, Milwaukee Art Museum, Third Ward District, and so much more. We did a lot of walking since it was convenient and easy. The location was amazing and everyone we encountered while out and about, walking, were also friendly and polite. The hotel was very busy all weekend long, but that did not take away from our experience. The staff were on top of taking care of every guest and making sure they were happy. I would absolutely stay again. The Westin helped make our trip that much more memorable.

We had our wedding reception at the Westin Downtown Milwaukee. Amanda Gildner and the banquet team truly go above and beyond to beautifully execute the details of your wedding. It wasn’t just a generic hotel reception. It started with a detailed tour that helped us envision our day. That was followed by a tasting for the dinner menu and more emails than we can count covering every last detail of the day. Amanda takes what can sometimes feel like a daunting task and makes it feel approachable. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness made our wedding weekend so relaxed and special. One little detail to highlight this is including bringing our gifts up to our room post-reception! But it wasn’t just Amanda who made our day. From Abe in the banquet staff who demonstrated true passion in his craft to Maddie and the rest of the front desk reception staff who always had an answer and amazing attitudes to boot, we can not speak more highly of the people who make the Westin a truly world-class establishment. We are so grateful that the Westin was able to make our wedding shine. So if you are looking for a host for your event or wedding, please consider the Westin and best-in-class service they provide.

Stayed here on the weekend I got engaged to my now fiancée and was blown away by the service and friendliness of the staff! Aneshlie and Tanya went out of their way to get my fiancée a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a bottle of wine, and a personalized hand-written card congratulating her and wishing us the best! They were extremely kind and wanted to know every detail which was very sweet of them. Couldn’t have had a better stay! Plus the beds were extremely comfortable!

Overall a very good stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, check in was smooth, and the location was convenient. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the amenities were solid. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is that the room could have been more tidy when we arrived. If housekeeping attention to detail improves, this would easily be a five star experience.

Westin is one of my favorite brands under Marriott group, due to its modern clean and neat style and excellent customer service. Stella restaurant makes this place even more special with unique healthy and tasty breakfast options and a beautiful setting and nice city view. Our family fave is lemon ricotta pan cakes, avocado toast, and truffle omelet to name a few. We stop at this hotel very often. Highly recommended.

Fairly typical Westin, almost ready for a renovation. Staff was great, rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good downstairs (not free), more options would be great on the menu.
